we rise by increasing understanding

You can always close your eyes to the things you don’t want to see, but you cant close your heart
to the things you don’t want to feel”

the insight foundation.

“Our aim in The Insight Foundation is to increase understanding of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Alongside this we hope to raise awareness of organised extreme abuse (OEA) and its relevance to DID.

The Insight Foundation hope to bring into view how OEA is kept hidden not only by abusers but by the difficulty in society of accepting this level of abuse could even exist.

We aim to bring to awareness the difficulties professionals and helpers working within this field face, and how this severely limits the level of help available.

We hope that this site will be an informative and useful resource in providing greater insight into the two areas, this will open up the access to help and support these survivors rarely find at present.

For society to be unaware, or unaccepting of these issues gives way to collusion with the groups who carry out these atrocities allowing it to continue.”
